Marriage Celebration Retreat

Whether you’ve been married many years or just one year, life happens. Things change. We change. Join us and take time to laugh, remember, and re-vision your marriage together. Enjoy a wonderful weekend with a banquet dinner, evening entertainment, free couples photo shoot, and great sessions.
Speakers: Pastor Ben and Stephanie Mason
Pastor Ben & Stephanie Mason grew up in Colorado, where Steph graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in communications. Ben, meanwhile, dropped out, quit his job, and THEN asked her dad for her hand in marriage. Needless to say, she is the brains of this operation. Once he got his life together, Ben received his Bachelors from Colorado Christian University, and his MDiv from Luther Seminary. They are blessed to be the parents of Lydia and Sam. In her spare time, Steph loves to watch cooking shows, and loves to create and decorate. Ben builds and plays guitars, and is thankful to have all ten of his fingers. Ben is the Family Life Pastor at Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines. Stephanie is the Preschool Director at Hope Ankeny. Together they have been leaders in marriage ministry at Hope and have spoken at various marriage retreats and events.
Theme: “You’re a 10! Living into an Abundant Marriage”
We will be using John 10:10, and Romans 10:10-17, teaching couples to speak the Word of God over each other, because God’s Word has the power to transform every marriage. We will be praying for each other, and facing the fears that captivate our minds and flipping those scripts to believe the truth by fixing our thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable about our partner and marriage a la Philippians 4:8.
2025 Cost:
$229 for the weekend per couple
$129 commuter rate per couple (breakfast not included)
Deposit: $50/couple (non-refundable)
