What Does IOLBC Believe?

You can read all about Ingham Okoboji's primary objectives, core values, and statements of belief by clicking on our About Page!

Two Sites?

Ingham Okoboji is blessed to be a two-site ministry. That means that we have two different locations- Ingham Lake Bible Camp, and Okoboji Lutheran Bible Camp. This allows us to offer different programs at the same time, and gives us the opportunity to reach even more people with the Good News of Jesus Christ!

Check out each site:

What is your current approach to camper health and wellness?
Camper health, wellness, and safety has always been a top priority for us.  Please take a moment to read our most recent statement regarding camper health and wellness.  If you have any questions or would like to know more about our health and wellness or safety policies, please contact us at 1-800-OKOBOJI or send us an email with your questions.

Can non-Lutherans Come to Camp?

Definitely! We welcome campers from all Christian backgrounds, as well as campers who do not yet have a faith.

How do you do cabin assignments for your overnight youth programs?

We assign cabins first by biological sex led by a counselor of the same biological sex. Next we look at cabin mate requests, age of campers, and the communities from which the campers come. With all of these factors, we do our best to place campers with at least one familiar face in their cabin group while they are at camp.

Who Serves on Staff?

Get to know a little more about the year-round staff, and familiarize yourself with their bright smiling faces by visiting the About Page!  Our summer staff are primarily young adults from a variety of places and Christian faith backgrounds.  If you are interested in finding out more about serving on our summer staff, visit our Apply For Staff page!

Are Pets Allowed?

To ensure that our campers stay healthy and safe while at camp, we do not allow pets. If you have questions about a service animal, please contact our office at 1-800-OKOBOJI or by email

Do You Accommodate for Food Allergies?

Food allergies and dietary needs are a very real concern for a growing number of our campers. We accommodate for most food allergies and dietary requirements to keep our campers healthy while joining us. Please make sure to note specific allergies or dietary needs on your registration form so we can best prepare for your safety.

Please call us at 1-800-OKOBOJI with any questions or concerns.

Do You Have Handicapped Accessible Housing?

We have many housing options for campers with special housing needs- including housing with ramps, no stairs, and accessible bathrooms. Please make sure to note your special housing needs on your registration form, or give us a call at 1-800-OKOBOJI.

Do You Have WiFi?

WiFi access is available for our adult campers and retreat guests. You may request the password upon arrival at the Welcome Center desk.

Please note: High usage and our location may mean that our internet could run slowly- please take that into account!

How Can I Send Mail to my Camper?

Camper mail is always lots of fun for our campers! To make sure that your camper receives their mail from you, please be sure to send it early in the week, or even send it before the camper joins us at camp.

I'm Registering Online- Do I Have an Online Account?

If you've been a camper with us before, or if your children have been a camper in the past, you have an online account! Our system will not allow duplicate accounts to be created so if you have forgotten your username or password, please contact us.

Your online account is a secure way to register for camp- and the account saves most of your contact information so you don't have to enter it again. You can register more than one camper, register for more than one program, manage camp opportunities for your whole family, and make payments using your online account.

Not sure if you have an account? Forgot your username or password? Give us a call at 1-800-OKOBOJI!

What is Your Cancellation Policy?

Camp programs require a deposit. All deposits are non-refundable. Your deposit may be transferred to another program within the calendar year (for example, if your camper can't come to Trailblazers #1, you can transfer the deposit to Trailblazers #3 within the same year).

The only exception to this policy is if a camper isn't able to attend due to illness or injury. (We reserve the right to require a doctor's note before deposit is refunded.)

For non-programmed retreats, please contact our Retreat Coordinator for full Retreat cancellation policy- call 1-800-OKOBOJI.
